My name is Shane Updike, and I am currently offering Coaching services at Canalside Therapeutic Arts. I graduated from Nazareth College with my Master’s Degree in Art Therapy in May, 2023, and I am currently pursuing licensure in New York State. During my schooling, I gained experience working with a diverse range of needs and populations, utilizing skills from Art Therapy, Play Therapy, and traditional Talk Therapy. As part of my education, I completed an additional program known as Rochester Interprofessional Scholars of Early Intervention (RISE). This taught me the value of a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to working with not just young children, but clients of all ages.
